"umm... taking down our kitchen cabinets..."
I had another vision.... rustic looking shelves, and a new kitchen island.
I took down the cabinets, painted over the remaining ivy wallpaper and added some faux painting to what was already there.
I also put a new top on the kitchen island to match the look of the shelves. (I used the old wood from the table to make the shelves.)
It all cost about $100 and looks Awesome! for the price.
Eventually I want to go to buy a nice sink base and kitchen faucet ... but this is a great in between.
